One pollutant, in the environment does not fit.

Where there is unwillingness to recognize an issue exists, there is typically no action. With no action, there is no containment or ideally resolution. Therefore, there is free flowing havoc.
One such pollutant is the absolute lie that I use to tell myself is "I can't make a difference." Perhaps this sounds familiar?
A simple daily reminder to self is in always in order.
Well, over 57,000 free roaming unconfined pieces of trash were singled handily collected. Countless photographic art pieces generated to document and promote awareness in a different manner.

I quickly discovered, its never about IF I am going to find trash. It's more like, how much am I going to find. Not to mention, what I am going to find.
Well folks, good news and bad news...
My Novel Concept
External Garbage Patch (Connection Point One): The beach. The ocean. The rivers and all other watersheds. The highways, roads, and parking lots.
Internal Garbage Patch (Connection Point Two): Perhaps the most littered place of all. The subconscious river. The beach/ocean between the ears. What an accumulation of debris that no longer suite and/or suited me! Frequently doing more harm than good. Continually stopping me from living a full and productive life.
It is All Connected...
Environmental Health and Wellness = Personal Health and Wellness

All I have to really offer is a different perspective for a long over due evasive action. All this simply works for me. Perhaps, this might assist and provide insight for others. After all, as a whole, Bullhorns and Bandaids are not resolving the earths pollution problems.
With constant bickering and the divisive nature of things now days sure are contributing to the dismal overall picture. I believe so anyways.
What if, everyone picked up at least one piece of trash every day, smiled and performed a small random act of kindness we could find common ground. It is simple, it is needed, and something we should be doing anyways. Always (another reminder for self).
It is my understanding that in Japan, after a large event, the actual attendees clean up. Imagine this, the trash laying around is considered an inconvenience to others. This is called Meiwaku. What a concept!
Perhaps one of my images will serve as a spark for action and serve as a reminder to enforce these connections. Instead of having the embattled humanity at odds with one another and a state of wellness.
Environmentally. Mentally. Physically. Spiritually. Self Respect.
(yet, another reminder to self)

To that which is reflected back at me, is mine to reflect upon. Need not say take action upon if possible.
So, simply put, and bottom line, my clean ups, beliefs and this website is attempting to draw attention and immediate focus on the following. Not listed in specific order but the first two are the easiest to accomplish:
Much like the people who saw me doing my clean ups in torn shorts I believe it is safe to say all they saw was that.
In part that is true. However all of the above are systemically connected. Yet, infrequently viewed as separate issues. They are not.
